Former Nottingham Forest favourite Adlene Guedioura has signed for Burton Albion.
The 36-year-old has joined the League One side on a deal until the end of the season.
Burton boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink knows Guedioura from their time working together at Forest and moved to sign the Algerian.
Hasselbaink said: “He’s going to offer experience – we’ve got a lot of young players and to get his experience I think it will benefit a lot of our young players.
"I know him from my time at Nottingham Forest and I think he will give us that extra power and physicality for the remainder of the season and then we will see.”
Here is how some Forest fans have reacted to the move on Twitter...
@eracdave : Ace signing for the Brewers that. If he gives you guys a smidgen of what he gave #nffc in his first spell with us you will lap it up. Good luck for the rest of the season.
@MattyNFFC23 : Damn, great signing for you boys, loved him at Forest, sound guy too when I met him.
@KilbeeMichael : Brilliant! Loved him at Forest, hope he smashes it at Burton!
@andycam65955938 : You will enjoy him trying to score from 40 yards out on a regular basis.
@ClaireNffc_xo : My favourite back playing local.
@jbnthat : Solid signing that, worked wonders for us at #nffc
@HalpinJamie : Well... that’s unexpected.
