An unearthed clip has shown the late Amy Winehouse being "self-critical" of her performance at the Brit Awards in 2008 as Denise van Outen attempts to life her spirits.
The footage, which is more than a decade old, has been posted on social media this afternoon ahead of this year's ceremony - which will be broadcast live on ITV tonight.
The throwback clip was shared by the account @loveofhuns on Instagram earlier, with the caption describing the video as an "iconic interview" from the music awards in 2008.
It shows the singer-songwriter following her performance of Loving is a Losing Game earlier in the ceremony - which was held at the Earls Court in London at that time.
Amy is seen backstage as she's approached by TV presenter Denise - who interviewed artists at the event. She asks: "How was your performance this evening? Did you enjoy it?"
The musician - who passed away just a few years later in 2011 - appears to have enjoyed herself but is disappointed. She states: "Yeah I enjoyed it. It was a bit sh*t though."
Denise is heard attempting to cheer up the singer, telling her: "Don't be so hard on yourself. The crowd absolutely loved it. We're thrilled that you're here tonight."
She then questions why Amy - who had won five Grammy Awards a few weeks earlier - was so hard on herself. She asked: "So why are you self-critical of your performance?"
The singer - who was nominated for a Brit Award that year, after winning one the previous year - responded to the question by saying: "It was a piece of sh*t."
The interview concludes with her complimenting the presenter, telling her: "You look fit though." Denise is heard saying "thank you" as Amy is shown walking away from her.
The video has almost 100,000 views on the @loveofhuns account on Instagram, with many fans commenting that they still miss Amy - who died at the age of 27 in 2011.
One viewer wrote: "So sad that she thought she was sh*t. She was incredible." Another agreed, writing: "Oh I wish she had listened though as she was amazing and never sh*t."
Another commented on the video: "Her eyes showed genuine angst and nervousness there. Such a shame. What a wonderful talent she was. Denise handled that well."
