A woman and her uncle are set to spend the night dangling 500ft in the air off a cliff.
Amanda Fox, 25, from Netherton, asked her uncle Paul Williams, 43, from Speke, to join her for the 'extreme camping' experience at Honister in the Lake District for a poignant reason. The challenge will see Amanda and Paul cross an infinity bridge before abseiling down a cliff, where they will then sleep 500 feet in the air in a tent suspended from the rock.
Amanda decided to take on the challenge in memory of her great nan Sylvia Corrin, who died from Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) - a rare neurological condition that can cause problems with balance, movement, vision, speech and swallowing.

Amanda told the ECHO: "I was 16 when I started caring for my nan. I grew up without a dad and she was always there like a father.
"She was in pain and it was hard to see. There was quite a few times when she was in the hospice when I had to walk out because it got too hard - I might go and cry in the toilets. I didn't want her seeing us upset."
It will be four years at the end of this month since Sylvia, from Bootle, died at the age of 79. Having cared for her nan from the age of 16, Amanda saw first hand the devastating impact the illness can have.
She now wants to raise money for PSPA - a charity dedicated to supporting those affected by PSP and Corticobasal Degeneration (CBD) by taking part in extreme camping.
Amanda and Paul will stay 500ft in the air from around 9.30pm on Friday 12 May until 7am the following morning. Amanda said: "I know for a fact when I get up there and I see it I will be nervous. It's more exciting at the moment.
"It makes me happy knowing I'm hoping to try and make a difference. This money could even help to find a cure or go towards family members to get that extra bit of help which we needed at the time."
