Former Arsenal boss Unai Emery has sent a message to Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar about his future after endless transfer speculation.
The Brazilian is never far away from the rumour mill and that has been the case almost from the very get-go after he joined PSG back in 2017 from Barcelona.
Neymar has been linked with a return to Spain on several occasions over the last couple of years since his world record move to France.
Barcelona have been associated in the rumours surrounding the 27-year-old's future and so have Real Madrid, with Manchester United even involved in some of the wilder speculation.
But the latest news around Neymar's future has suggested that he may actually stay put and sign a new contract with the Ligue 1 side.
However, ex-PSG boss Emery, who was sacked by Arsenal last November, has explained that Neymar should return to La Liga to become the 'best player in the world'.
"He is 27 years old and has all the conditions to be the best player in the world," Emery told Cadena SER.
"In Spain I would like him to come back because the best players have to be in the best teams.
"You hear a lot that he will return to Barcelona. I also left to go to PSG, but now that I'm in Spain, I think Neymar has to come back."
