Aston Villa manager Unai Emery was impressed with how Celtic performed last night.
Despite going two goals down early on, Brendan Rodgers' men rallied and drew themselves level before the break thanks to a fine Adam Idah brace.
Ollie Watkins, though, put Villa back ahead on the hour mark before Morgan Rogers completed his hat-trick in the dying embers to round off the scoring.
Despite a 4-2 defeat, Celtic remained competitive throughout the match, with Villa boss Emery impressed by them.

The Spaniard was directly asked about his opponents' performance in his post-match press conference: "Good," he said.
"The expectation we had of them was how they played.
"They were competing very well after we started very good.
"In the second half, we dominate again, imposing, pushing, controlling the game, doing good passes, getting good positioning and being more in their box. Through this, we beat them (Celtic)."
Although Celtic ended their league phase campaign with a defeat, their 1-0 win over BSC Young Boys last week means they are secure of a place in tomorrow's Champions League knockout-round play-off draw.
Potential opponents for the Parkhead side are Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, with Rodgers' men in for a tough challenge to make the last 16.
The first leg of the tie will be played in Glasgow's east end in just under a fortnight, but before then, attention turns to domestic action.
