Una Healy has said her latest single ‘Walk Away’ is an “empowering” break-up song - but reveals it’s not about anybody or any situation in particular.
The Thurles singer, who is currently working on writing new music, insists that the song is about having the strength to walk away from any situation.
She said: “It’s kind of like an empowering break-up song, you know, you’re kind of walking away in style. That’s the message I want to put out there.”

The mum-of-two was speaking on BBC’s music show, The Beat. She added that her latest song isn’t necessarily about walking away from a relationship.
She said: “Walking away from any situation - doesn’t have to be like a relationship - it can be a job that you’re not happy with any more, or anything.
“It’s to get that strength to leave a situation and do it in style. There’s lots of shoe references in there, you’ve probably noticed,” Una quipped.
Una has had her own shoe range for the past 5 years and often showcases her range on her Instagram. The shoes are stocked in over 100 stores - but Una doesn’t design them herself.
She said: “I work with a team. I leave the designing to them. I oversee it. I work in partnership with them.
“I make sure the shoes that all the styles are what people are into at the minute, if they’re up to date, they’re comfortable and fit for the purpose, all that kind of thing."
Una last month dished the details on the rumoured throuple with boxer David Hayes and Sian Osborne – and confirmed she never even kissed Sian.
The Saturdays singer opened up about her relationship with the champion boxer, admitting she didn’t realise he was still “very involved” with what she thought was his ex-girlfriend Sian.
Speaking to Vogue Williams and Joanne McNally on the My Therapist Ghosted Me podcast, Una revealed that David had been pushing the “throuple” narrative.
