Una Healy has hit back after being targeted by cruel trolls as she spoke out about receiving abusive messages on her social media.
The Saturday's singer and mum-of-two, 41, reminded her followers to be kind to others and urged users to not spread hate online.
Una said she had to block quite a few 'negative profiles' and comments from trolls on her Instagram on World Kindness Day.
In a now deleted Instagram post, Una began: "Hey everyone, good evening. I don't come on here very often to divulge much about my life or my private life or try to preach or anything like that, but today it's World Kindness Day.
"And the one piece of advice my mum passed on to me was if you don't have anything nice to say don't say it. And that's all I will say - just don't say it, if it's not nice keep it to yourself."
Thankfully after sharing her thoughts, Una shared an update to her followers to say she had been inundated with love and support.
She wrote: "Well, I just want to acknowledge that the positivity to that message I put out has far outweighed the negativity tonight.
"I want to thank everyone for your lovely messages and just to know that we don't deserve s*** being said about us or any negative comments."
"If you feel you want to say something mean to someone or if you think mean thoughts, just keep them within yourself and look after yourself but don't put them out there because that's a sign that you're not feeling well in yourself.
"Just look after yourself, but don't put out that hate," Una finished.
Her followers rushed to support her, with one writing: "Hope you are okay. No one should be getting any negative or hate comments. No matter what you will always have your fans in your corner."
"Forget the haters Una. Wishing you all the best on world kindness day," said another.
The songstress recently admitted that she is not looking for romance right now and has a very "fulfilled life" focusing on her two kids, Aoife and Tadhg, aged seven and ten.
"My primary job in life is to look after my children so they can tire me out at times but they are at a really good age now, they’re seven and ten," the Tipperary native told Vicky Pattison on the Secret to Podcast.
"Their schedule is what I go by, so everything they're doing I have to make sure they're fed and watered and dropped to school.
"Everything else I do aside from that, you know Instagram can be quite deceptive because it's not exactly everyone's entire day.
"If you could really see inside what my day is like it's 90% the kids and that little 10% is just me. I've a very fulfilled life and my children have provided me with that, I'd be lost without them to be honest."
