Una Healy confirms she's single - shutting down claims she's in 'throuple' with David Haye and girlfriend

Una Healy has confirmed she is single - shutting down speculation that she is in a "throuple" with boxer David Haye and his partner, Sian Osborne.

The Saturdays singer told the Irish Mirror: “I am single and raising my two children, just like many other single parents – both men and women – doing a great job. I am a single parent. I don’t like the term single mother as it has negative connotations.

“You can’t do it all by yourself. There is no shame in asking for help, be that from childcare, family or friends.

“I am often asked how I juggle it all as a single parent but men aren’t asked that. In fact, I can never remember a time when I heard a man being asked how he juggles it all. Mothers don’t have a choice if they are single – you just get on with it."

The Tipperary native has been embroiled in speculation about a three-way relationship since photos emerged of the trio holidaying together in Morocco over the New Year.

Una, David and Sian are said to have grown close last year, with The Saturdays singer joining the couple in Ibiza last October and spending time together in London over the festive period.

Haye, 42, has been dating Sian since 2020, which is why fans were puzzled to see him so close with Una, 41, in recent times.

A photo uploaded to social media showed the retired boxer holding hands with both of them.

Posting a photo of himself with Sian and Una, Haye wrote on his Instagram page: "If a picture says a thousand words, then this one says exactly what it needs to. I decided to start the year in the sun, looking/feeling healthy, tanned and ready to attack the year ahead.

"I've always wanted to visit Marrakesh, ever since I read 'The Alchemist' (Paulo Coelho). I wanted my very own Morocco adventure to one day write about, well that box now is well and truly ticked. I've started Jan first with the correct energy, surrounding myself with understanding beautiful human beings, who do not judge, but instead accept me for my authentic self.

"The support I get from so many amazing friends and associates, makes my world a much better place to live. So thank you for everyone’s collective effort over the year. Especially everyone at @parkplaza."

Una was speaking at a library event on Wednesday night in Cashel, Tipperary, to celebrate International Women’s Day.

Una told the Irish Mirror: ‘I’m a girls’ girl, I still have the same best friends from school. I was in a girl band for years and I remain close to them. I am surrounded by amazing women, like my mother.

"Women can be powerful in numbers. There’s no need to tear each other down. Up the women!’
