A United Nations vehicle in southern Lebanon was reportedly hit by a drone strike on Saturday morning, as per Lebanese state media. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) swiftly refuted claims made by Lebanese media that it was responsible for the attack. In a statement, the IDF clarified that it did not target a UNIFIL vehicle in the Rmeish area on that morning.
The National News Agency of Lebanon (NNA) detailed that a drone had struck a military vehicle belonging to the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) near the town of Rmeish. NNA further mentioned that the incident resulted in injuries to 'a number' of UNIFIL soldiers and a Lebanese national.
