Israel's ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon, dismissed Iran's claims as an attempt to undermine Israel politically. Danon emphasized Israel's right to defend itself and refuted the accusations of violating international law as 'ridiculous.'
Israel clarified that its strikes targeted military sites in Iran in response to Tehran's recent ballistic missile attacks. The Israeli military source confirmed that the strikes did not target energy infrastructure. Iran has downplayed the impact of the strikes, reporting limited damage at the military locations.
According to state-run media, four members of Iran's military were killed in the Israeli attack. Tehran asserted its entitlement to self-defense following the incident.
