Ump in the Braves-Nationals game was way too excited about making such a bad call

It’s been a tough year so far for the umpires in Major League Baseball. Too many of them have made too many bad calls in the first few months of the season and robot umps can’t here fast enough.

We saw another really bad call in Sunday’s Braves-Nationals game and the ump making the call was way to excited about it all.

Braves first baseman Matt Olson thought he had drawn a walk on a 3-2 pitch with two outs in the top of the fifth inning. Home plate ump Jose Navas, however, had other plans as he very enthusiastically called the pitch a strike and ended the inning for Atlanta.

Look at how bad this call was:

Brutal. Dude was way too happy to do that.
