TV presenter Ulrika Jonsson has said she will now follow in the footsteps of actress Florence Pugh by 'freeing the nipple.'
It comes as Little Women star Florence took to the red carpet in a pink dress sheer over her chest which has sparked controversy.
Ulrika told The Sun: "Florence looked the epitome of beauty, class and purity, showing and owning what is biologically and physiologically hers."
The TV presenter said she also received backlash in the past following a nip-slip on Instagram to can relate, the Mirror reports.
She explained: "I’ve been given a scolding on Instagram when I’ve accidentally had a nip-slip. It’s beyond ridiculous.
"This platform can’t weed out racism but it can shut down a picture of a nipple. And the inequality is there for all to see.
"We’re quite happy for men to parade around revealing their saggy boobs.
"We admire the taut pecs of the men on Love Island on our TV screens every night. But if a woman goes topless, all hell breaks loose."
Ulrika also opened up about having a breast reduction and being 'desperate' for smaller boobs.
When she was 41 the star decided to have the surgery after asking for a pair of 'Kate Mosses' and described it as "one of the best decisions she's ever made."
The 54-year-old said the choice was "going against convention at the time" as other women were getting surgery to get bigger boobs.
Despite not being able to go as small as she wanted due to her frame, she still says the surgery changed her life and improved her relationship with her body.
Florence posted to her Instagram about wearing the sheer dress where she posted a statement about the backlash she'd received.
She said that she there was "no way there wouldn’t be a commentary on it' and 'was excited to wear it."
The actress talked about how she was grateful that she grew up in a household with very "strong, powerful, curvy women."
Florence said: "I’m very grateful that I grew up in a household with very strong, powerful, curvy women.
"We were raised to find power in the creases of our body. To be loud about being comfortable.
"It has always been my mission in this industry to say 'f*** it and f*** that' whenever anyone expects my body to morph into an opinion of what’s hot or sexually attractive. I wore that dress because I know.
"If being loudly abusive towards women publicly in 2022 is so easy for you, then the answer is that it is you who doesn’t know."
She added: "Grow up. Respect people. Respect bodies. Respect all women. Respect humans. Life will get a whole lot easier, I promise.
"And all because of two cute little nipples…."
