TV personality Ulrika Jonsson has slammed singer Robbie Williams' confession that he and wife Ayda Field "rarely have sex".
The Swedish TV presenter gave her thoughts on the confession from the former Take That star, as she opened up that "there aren’t many days, if any when I don’t think about sex".
Mum-of-four Ulrika, who has been married three times, also added that she would "struggle" if sex wasn't a regular feature in her married life as she criticised the confession from Robbie and Ayda.
The revelation from the married couple came this week as Robbie blamed his lack of libido since coming off testosterone injections, which were the medication he took for depression but found they were worsening it.
In her column for The Sun, Ulrika wrote: "At the risk of sounding like a sex-obsessive, there aren’t many days, if any, when I don’t think about sex.
"I'd struggle if a cuddle was all Robbie offered me on a date and I’d say the same about Ayda if I was otherwise inclined."
She did add that she found the couple's relationship "remarkable", as she continued: "I never thought I’d be envious of a couple in a sexless marriage but here I am hoping that one day I will find someone who is of the same mindset as I am, who understands that love is so much more than just sex, not a spreadsheet of how many times a week you have a bunk-up compared to other couples."
This isn't the first time Ulrika has told the world about her sex life, as she famously revealed in 2019 that her marriage to third husband Brian Monet saw the couple only have sex just once in eight years. The couple married in 2008 but split ten years later.
The comments on Robbie's marriage come after the Angels singer opened up this week but insisted the couple are still happy despite having sex less.
He told The Sun : "Everyone knows there is no sex after marriage. That's just the way it is. I was on testosterone for a while but, because I'm an addict, that had to stop. I got these massive square shoulders and started to look like a doorman. It wasn't a good look.
"But the sex we had when I was on testosterone was incredible; it was all the time. We were insatiable. It goes to show how into each other we really are, though, because when I was on it, we couldn't take our hands off each other.
"I miss that. That was a fun period. Sometimes now, though, Ayda will turn to me on the sofa and say, "We should do sex," and I'm sitting there eating a tangerine and just sort of shrug. So, ya know, sometimes we try."
