Ulrika Jonsson has said there are “no excuses” for being unfaithful as she compared herself to Maroon 5 star Adam Levine, who has hit the headlines this week.
The TV presenter candidly detailed her own cheating past in a column she wrote for The Sun newspaper.
In it, the 55-year-old admitted being unfaithful in first marriage to John Turnbull, who she shares son Cameron, 27, with.
Although she didn’t sleep with anyone, Ulrika said she definitely “crossed the line” and it ultimately ended her relationship.
She called on Levine – who is accused of sending flirty messages to multiple women and a possible year-long affair with an Instagram influencer behind wife Behati Prinsloo’s back – to come clean about what he had really done.

The 43-year-old singer has insisted he didn’t cheat on his wife, but conceded he had sent “inappropriate” messages while he was married.
The allegations from five separate women emerged just weeks after Levine and wife Behati, 34, announced they are expecting their third child.
Although Levine has acknowledged some wrongdoing, Ulrika said “there is no grey area” when it comes to cheating.
The mum-of-four wrote: “I was unfaithful in my first marriage. No excuses. It was very black and white.”
She said the people around her at the time tried to convince her “it wasn’t really infidelity” because no sex had taken place, something she now calls a “misplaced act of sympathy”.
But for some people – “mainly men” – she penned, “there seems to be different levels of unfaithfulness”.
“Just a drunken snog, just a drunken s***. Just a flirty, sexy text – it meant nothing. Well, tell that to the person on the receiving end who must be furious at being dismissed and wounded for being used as ‘just’ something minor and transient.”
Ulrika said Levine “really took things to the next level” when he apparently asked the woman he is alleged to have had a physical affair with if he could name his unborn child after her.
She continued: “At which point was that even clever? Or empathetic? Did he think it was a sweet dedication to the girl he was flirting with behind his wife’s back? Yuck. How warped is that?”
Addressing the cheating claims earlier this week, Levine issued a statement on Instagram.
He said: “I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner. I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period of my life.
“In certain instances, it became inappropriate. I have addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family."
He continued: "My wife and my family is all I care about in this world. To be this naïve and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make.
“I will never make it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it and we will get through it together."
His wife Behati has yet to make any comment on the claims and since the statement was issued four more women have come forward saying Levine messaged them inappropriately on Instagram.
