Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced the postponement of his official visit to Saudi Arabia until March 10. This decision came after Kyiv was excluded from the US-Russia talks that took place in Riyadh on Tuesday.
Zelensky had initially planned to visit Saudi Arabia later this week but expressed surprise at not being invited to the Russian-American meeting in Riyadh. Speaking at a news conference in Ankara, Turkey, he emphasized the importance of transparency and stated that he would not attend the Saudi Arabia visit to avoid any misunderstandings.

During the conference, Zelensky reiterated his desire for a fair resolution to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, emphasizing the need for Ukraine to be involved in any decision-making processes regarding the war. He stressed that decisions affecting Ukraine should not be made without the country's direct involvement.
Zelensky also mentioned that he is anticipating the arrival of a US delegation in Kyiv. He specifically noted that Keith Kellogg, the former Trump administration's Russia-Ukraine envoy who was absent from the US delegation in Riyadh, is scheduled to visit Ukraine on Thursday.
The Ukrainian leader's decision to postpone his visit to Saudi Arabia underscores the importance of inclusive dialogue and the need for Ukraine to be actively engaged in discussions concerning its future and the resolution of the conflict.
