NASA satellites detected intense heat sources emanating from an area of approximately five square miles, with a minor earthquake measuring 2.8 magnitude reported in the Tver region, just 55 miles from the Belarus border.

The governor of the Tver region, Igor Rudenya, acknowledged a fire at the site and confirmed the downing of Ukrainian drones, leading to the evacuation of some residents.

The explosions at the arms depot reportedly took place in the town of Toropets, nearly 480 miles from Kursk, where Ukrainian forces initiated an invasion last month.
