Ukraine's military has made a serious accusation against Russia, claiming that an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) was launched during an attack on the city of Dnipro. The missile was reportedly launched from the Astrakhan region of the Russian Federation, according to a statement released by Ukraine's air force.
While the specific type of ICBM deployed by Russia was not disclosed in the statement, the claim has not been independently verified by any sources. In addition to the ICBM, Ukraine's military also reported the launch of an X-47M2 Kinzhal ballistic missile, as well as seven cruise missiles during the attack on Dnipro.
Fortunately, the statement indicated that all the cruise missiles were successfully intercepted and shot down, preventing any significant damage. However, the military did not specify the exact nature of the consequences caused by the other missiles launched during the attack.
This latest development has escalated tensions between Ukraine and Russia, adding to the ongoing conflict in the region. The international community will be closely monitoring the situation as more information becomes available regarding the alleged missile launches and their impact on the city of Dnipro.
