UK-wide police search for missing schoolgirl, 14, last seen in London

Talailah Francis, 14, at London Tube station - (Metropolitan Police)

Police in at least two forces are urgently trying to find a schoolgirl missing for two weeks.

Talailah Francis, 14, from Brent, is believed to have travelled towards London having been in the North West and East Anglia.

She was last seen at Whittlesford Service Station, Cambridge on January 25.

There have since been potential sightings of Talailah in Hackney, Lambeth, Enfield and Southwark. She was caught on CCTV at a London Underground station.

Days earlier, Merseyside Police appealed for help after the teenager was spotted in Walton getting a bus in the direction of Liverpool city centre 230 miles away.

The force described her as a black female, 5ft 9in tall, with black hair and blonde braids, wearing a navy gilet, black leggings and tan coloured Ugg boots.

On Saturday, a Metropolitan Police spokesman said officers “remain concerned regarding Talailah’s welfare” and are appealing to the public for assistance.

Anyone who has seen her or knows information should call 101, quoting CAD4485/26JAN25, for an immediate sighting, dial 999.
