There is a chance snow could fall in Bristol next week, as a weather map shows temperatures are set to plummet across the West Country. According to WX Charts there will be heavy snowfall in the north and the Midlands on Thursday, April 7, with a light dusting of snow forecast for Gloucestershire and parts of the South West.
The Met Office initially forecast a 28C heatwave for mid April in the UK, but the weather is set to get worse before it gets better, with frost and some hill snow predicted for the South West this weekend. The cold weather will continue into next week when more wintry blasts are expected, together with hail and even thunder in some places.
Towards late April the Met Office says more settled conditions are expected with temperatures above average in most places, especially in the south. It's hard to keep up, we know.
