Mixed weather conditions are expected over the next few days, as the north of the UK is expected to see cloud and rain, with warm sunny spells in the south.
Temperatures are set to become warmer, especially in the south of England.
The Met Office said London could see highs of 21C over the bank holiday weekend, with forecaster Alex Deakin stating: “Wafting up from the south is warmer air so temperatures are going to be on the rise over the next few days.”
It means the UK is likely to experience its warmest weather of 2023 over the bank holiday weekend.
However, conditions are expected to be mixed in northern parts.
In the northeast, the Met Office has forecasted highs of 13°C amid drizzly rain and cloud cover. Similar temperatures are expected in the northwest.
