Heavy snow is blasting some parts of the UK and causing further disruption as Storm Eunice continues to wreak havoc through the country.
Forecasters predict up to eight inches of the white stuff will fall in some regions this weekend, while Brits continue to be battered with 50mph gale force winds.
The snow will continue into tomorrow, with 3cm expected to fall on Manchester overnight.
Snow moved westwards over the north of England yesterday with 7cm (two inches) blanketing areas of Leeds every hour, the Daily Express reports.
Conditions were similar in Manchester at around 9pm last night when around 6cm fell. In the west of Scotland, a huge 17cm of snow was seen each hour.
Temperatures will hover around the freezing point in many areas of the UK today, with the north of England seeing lows of -1C.
Near Aberdeen, the mercury will plunge colder still, with lows of -5C expected.
Tonight 33cm of snow is expected to blanket the ground of Greater Manchester.
Fort William in Scotland's west will be hit with 21cm (8.3 inches), according to the Express.
Tomorrow many Brits will be soaked as rain covers the isles, but snow will still be present in northern areas affected in previous days.
Snow will buffet much of Scotland overnight, with 18cm an hour in Fort William and 6cm an hour in Glasgow before turning to rain by 6am.
It comes after millions of people were told to stay at home yesterday as one of the worst storms in decades, Storm Eunice, hit the UK.
High winds have seen flights cancelled, hundreds of schools shut, and a number of major bridges around the country closed.
Rare red weather warnings - meaning there is a danger to life from flying debris - have been issued by the Met Office covering much of southern and eastern England, and South Wales.
Gusts of up to 92mph have been recorded on the Isle of Wight.

Meanwhile, a TV psychic who didn’t see Storm Eunice coming watched on in horror as her trampoline and washing line was swept away in the wind.
Sally Cudmore’s footage captures the moment her trampoline is lifted up into the air and hurled into a neighbour’s garden.
At first, the washing line is the only thing anchoring the trampoline as it buffeted up into the air.
But then both the washing line and garden toy fly out of her backyard.
Items of clothing can be seen whizzing off in all directions as the trampoline is hurled about by the freak gales.
The celeb psychic, 50, quipped: “Being a psychic… I didn’t see this coming.”
