Sunday will be particularly wet and windy for most parts of the UK, the Met Office confirmed.
Strong winds from the Arctic could push a heavy band of rain toward the southeast of England.
At the same time, cold air will be pushed into the north of Scotland, making it feel particularly wintry.
The temperature is expected to drop as we head toward the end of the weekend, with lows of -1 on Sunday night.
The majority of England will see between 10C and 12C for most of the day, albeit combined with heavy rainfall.
By the time Monday comes around, some regions could be looking at about 20mm of rainfall within the previous 24 hours.
The Met Office tweeted: "Sunday will be cloudy for many with rain, heavy in places, and also some wintriness as cold air pushes into the north.
"Watch out for some heavy rain in the southeast on Sunday morning. Showers elsewhere, these wintry in the far north."
Weather maps also revealed the prospect of snow returning in some northerly parts of the UK.
Up to two inches could fall within a single hour in the Highlands, according to WXCharts.
There could be even more snow for Scotland and some parts of England throughout next week.
Meanwhile, there were also three flood alerts in place across England, the Environment Agency revealed.
Residents in Tyne and Wear were told to be prepared for flooding, as well as those living in west Bristol.
There were also flood alerts for those living around Fleet and Isleworth.
