Britain will continue to feel toasty as temperatures could reach as high as 21C on Thursday with the UK finally reaching the average for this time of year.
The start of the month, which has yielded two Bank Holiday weekends already, brought wet conditions following April showers in the month prior.
King Charles' Coronation was hit by Britain's stereotypical rain as he continued the ceremonial tradition as he became the third monarch in a row to endure showers at their crowning ceremony.
However, temperatures and conditions have brightened up more recently and most of the UK should enjoy sunshine on Thursday afternoon.
Northern Ireland and the west of Scotland appear to be the anomaly as a weather front works its way eastwards from the Atlantic to bring more rainfall, although Belfast should still reach highs of 17C.
The rest of the country will entertain cloudier weather but the temperatures should be on par for this time of the year as we head closer to the summer season.

Met Office meteorologist Annie Shuttleworth said: "For much of the country, it will be a dry start. The weather front starts its position across the west of Northern Ireland and Scotland on Thursday morning.
"We will see the odd shower breaking out across parts of the Midlands and into the south of England too. Many of us will see a dry day, but a little bit more cloud around across the skies as the cloud bubbles up and spreads out through the day.
"In any sunshine it will still feel quite warm. We've got relatively light winds out there, highs of 20, possibly 21 degrees."
The weather front will continue to push eastwards as we head into Thursday evening, with England and Wales being the recipient of the light and patchy rainfall.
North of the weather front will have clearer skies overnight, which in turn will see temperatures drop below double figures.
