A heatwave - dubbed a 'Spanish sizzler' - could see temperatures in the UK reach up to 30C during the Platinum Jubilee weekend.
The weather front is forecast to come in at the end of May and will no doubt be a pleasant addition to many a Jubilee celebration, as Brits celebrate the four-day weekend with barbeques in the sun, outdoor fayres, picnics, afternoon tea, parades, parties and much more.
According to reports, like this one from The Sun, weather maps show the UK covered in a deep orange glow during the period, with meteorologists predicting that temperatures could top 30C in some parts. And, if that's not enough, the Met Office is also predicting that a "brief heatwave" will hit the country in mid-May.

In the south of England, temperatures are forecast to reach highs of around 23C. The Met Office long-range forecast states: "Largely fine and dry for southern and eastern areas with some sunny spells and feeling rather warm to very warm at times."
Met meteorologist Marco Petagna said: "Temperatures are several degrees above where they should be at this time of year." He explained there was a "small chance" that temperatures could rise into the mid-twenties, meaning a "brief" heatwave.
And, according to BBC Weather, the UK could see "eight straight days of sunshine from next Monday (May 9)" with some temperatures even beating those in places like Ibiza, Saint-Tropez and Crete, however meteorologists have reportedly warned not to expect "wall-to-wall sunshine".
