UK voters: what’s happening where you are on polling day?

As the UK goes to the polls on Thursday, we want to hear from voters about what’s happening where they are.

If you voted, how was your experience? Were there queues or was it quiet? Did you go alone or with others? If you’re following the election from outside of the UK, tell us how and why.

Did you have any issues voting, such as problems with a proxy vote, or voter registration or ID? If so, tell us about it. Were you able to vote in the end?

If you have any news tips we’d like to hear about those too.

We’d like to see pictures of yourself or what’s happening before you go into or after you leave the polling station but please don’t take pictures or video of yourself inside the polling station, as publishing it could be a breach of the law. Also please don’t tell us who you’re voting for as we can’t publish voting intentions until after polling closes at 10pm.
