A UK ticket-holder has won the biggest National Lottery pot of all time: a £195m EuroMillions jackpot.
The buyer of the winning ticket has yet to come forward and lottery operator Camelot has advised people to check in case they have won.
The winning numbers were 06, 23, 27, 40, 41 – plus the Lucky Star numbers 02 and 12.
One ticket matched all seven numbers to win £195,707,000 – a total that has rolled over since 17 June.
The holder will be able to buy 11 Boeing 747 jets, 23 Pisces-VI Submarines, Southampton Football Club or a townhouse in London’s Mayfair, complete with steam-room and plunge pool, cinema room and fully-equipped chef’s kitchen.
It also means they are richer than Adele, who as Britain’s leading popstar is worth £150m.
Only 15 players have ever won a jackpot of more than £100m.
Camelot’s Andy Carter, senior winners adviser at The National Lottery, said: “What an amazing night for one UK ticket-holder who has scooped the biggest-ever EuroMillions jackpot of £195million.
“This winner has just become the biggest National Lottery winner of all time, the fourth lucky EuroMillions jackpot winner here this year and the 15th UK winner of over £100m.
“Players are urged to check their tickets and to give us a call if they think they are tonight’s record-breaking lucky winner.”
The previous Euromillions record UK holders were Joe and Jess Thwaite from Gloucestershire, who won £184m in May.
Colin and Chris Weir from North Ayrshire won £161m in 2011, and Adrian and Gillian Bayford received just over £148m in 2012.
The former winners are known for making lavish purchases – the Bayford’s bought a a Grade-II listed estate in Cambridgeshire – but often they give away large amounts of their chance riches.
Frances Connolly from Hartlepool, who won £115m in 2019 with husband Patrick, set up two charitable foundations and estimates she has already given away £60m to charity, as well as friends and family.
