UK's best holiday homes revealed with private chefs, hot tubs and beach views

The best holiday homes in the country have been unveiled and include a mill with a private chef and a barn with a bowling green.

Six properties in Edinburgh, Cumbria, the Cotswolds, Devon, Anglesey and Monmouthshire have been chosen as the best-of-the-best by letting firm Vrbo from its range of two million properties.

Idyllic rural escapes to captivating coastal retreats are among the winners, which were not competing against other holiday company's properties for a top place in this year's rankings.

The homes were chosen from those with a rating of 4.9 or higher, with the number of guest reviews, amenities, and spaces for spending time together with family and friends also taken into account.
