Britain's best and worst seaside towns are revealed in a new survey - with some surprising results.
As temperatures soar and more weeks of warm weather are on the way, flocking to the seaside is one of our most popular summer activities.
The UK's coastal areas offer a range of activities for people of all ages - with water sports, beautiful sceneries and peaceful spots available all around the country.
But not all seaside resorts get positive feedback - and a recent survey carried out by Which? has found that Skegness in Lincolnshire and Clacton-on-Sea in Essex were rated as the worst seaside destinations in the UK.
Seaside resorts were ranked based on their beach, seafront, scenery, accommodation, value for money as well as peace and quiet.
Both Skegness and Clacton-on-Sea received a score of just 48% and despite being rated an average three out of five stars for their beaches, visitors were less impressed with their run-down seafronts.
They were also rated just one star for peace and quiet, despite some people praising Skegness for its "old-fashioned" charm and Clacton for its "lovely" seafront gardens and "fantastic" annual airshow.
Last year, Skegness installed a neon sign reading "Welcome to fabulous Skeg Vegas, not in Nevada" in a bid to attract more visitors.
A person who visited Skegness described it as "a dump" adding that there are no "redeeming features" in the town.
Debbie, from Coventry, wrote on TripAdvisor: "Unless you like arcades and fish and chips for every meal I suggest you don't visit Skegness, it has no redeeming features what so ever. Want health food, no chance, want a nice bistro... you must be joking. want a nice wine bar... try another town.

"However, if you would like to clog up your arteries and increase your body weight this is the place for you. Luckily we only spent a weekend there, any longer and we would have still only spent a weekend there and left early. On on our leaving day we didn't linger... we couldn't get out of town fast enough."
Another person who visited Clacton wrote a review saying: "If you want to relax, don't sit near the pier. We walked a good 10 minutes up the beach but the constant noise from the pier's roller coaster completely spoiled any possibility of relaxation."
Other destinations in the lower end of the scale were Burnham-on-Sea in Somerset, Bangor in County Down, Northern Ireland, Mablethorpe in Lincolnshire and Bognor Regis in West Sussex.
But the Which? survey also listed the best seaside destinations in the UK - with Bamburgh in Northumberland topping the list and being rated higher than well-known favourites such as Brighton and Blackpool.
The small village of around 400 people was rated five-star in all categories and received an outstanding 88% overall destination score.
Visitors said they particularly love the views of Bamburgh Castle and a person praised the "super-soft sand" as well as the spacious beach that "never feels crowded".
It is the third year in a row that Bamburgh is named the UK's favourite seaside destination by more than 4,000 people surveyed by Which?
Meanwhile, Portmeirion in Gwynedd was named the best seaside destination in Wales, with an overall score of 83% - and visitors said they loved its architecture, inspired by Italian towns such as Portofino on the Mediterranean.
In Scotland, St Andrew in Fife received a score of 83% with its beach getting five out of five stars and visitors praising a wide choice of food and drink.
Portstewart in Londonderry/Derry was the third highest-rated seaside town in the UK (84%) and the best in Northern Ireland.
The town's beach, Portsteward Strand, starred in Game of Thrones when it was used as a stand-in for the Dornish coastline.
