Starmer shared his intentions during an interview ahead of a crucial summit involving European and global leaders focused on addressing the situation in Ukraine. He expressed optimism about the proposed plan, referring to it as a positive step forward.



Regarding the recent heated exchange in the Oval Office where US President Donald Trump criticized Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Starmer acknowledged the concerning nature of the incident. However, he also expressed his belief that Trump is genuinely interested in achieving a lasting peace in Ukraine.
