The chef and food rights campaigner Jamie Oliver has called for the eligibility criteria for free school meals to be expanded. Only children of parents who are on universal credit and have an annual income of no more than £7,400, or are on another benefit such as jobseeker’s allowance, are currently eligible.
We would like to hear views from parents about changing the eligibility for school meals. What difference would free school meals make to your household?
We’d also like to hear views from teachers about increasing the number of free school meals.
