UK Eurovision singer Sam Ryder is the 22nd performer on the list at this year's Eurovision Song Contest - and it's a good sign if history is anything to go by.
Sam's performance of his song Space Man will take place between Australia's Sheldon Riley and Poland's Ochman tonight in Turin.
The event kicks off at 8pm with Czech Republic - and Estonia will be the 25th and final country to perform this year.
The later the performance in proceedings, the arguably more memorable it is for judges to rate. And last year’s winner Maneskin was proof of that, after playing as number 24 on the night.
This year, due to events around the globe, Ukraine's Kalush Orchestra who are 12th on the night, are big favourites to win the competition, while Russia were barred from the competition in February following the country's invasion of Ukraine.
In the history of the competition since 2010, the 22nd performer has won twice.
Israel’s winner form 2018 Netta and Germany’s Lena from 2010 were both placed in the 22nd slot of the competition,
And the UK’s last winner Katrina and the Waves and their infectious song Love Shine A Light in 1997 was the 24th performer on the night.
Sam’s who has been on voice rest following rehearsals is now third favourite to win, with odds as short as 7/1. And if he wins, it will be a first for the UK in 25 years.
Viewers can looks forward to a huge prop tonight - a giant light-up metallic structure which divides to look like wings – and a spacesuit.
The Eurovision grand kicks off tonight at 8pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
