We’re only two weeks into Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 and it appears that one of the grooms has spoiled the ending of his journey after he was spotted on a night out with a mystery woman.

As I’ve stated heavily in past articles regarding the reality TV goldmine, MAFS is truly the gift that keeps on giving when it comes to both on and off-screen drama.
Most recently, 30-year-old groom Adrian Araouzou has had MAFS viewers reeling after fresh pictures of an outing seemingly confirmed he was no longer with his reality TV beau Awhina Rutene.
On Wednesday, in pictures obtained by Yahoo! Lifestyle, Adrian was seen getting hella cozy with a mystery woman who looked nothing like his on-screen wife.
According to an inside source who spoke with the publication, the 2025 groom’s date took place Friday night in Sydney.
“So essentially, I was in the city on Friday night, see a bloke who looks super familiar – I’m like wait a sec that’s Adrian from MAFS and he’s holding hands with a girl,” the insider dished.
“I then notice that it’s not the girl he got married to on the show and they were looking very cozy together. They probably just had a date night and were going to a bar or something cause this was around 11pm — 12am. But yeah, he was definitely with a different girl to his wife on the show so that is done.”

In response to the cheeky pap pics, Adrian claimed that the man in the photos was actually his twin brother, James Araouzou, who was present at the groom’s MAFS wedding.
“I think people forget I have a twin brother and he is here in Sydney with me at the moment and he is single,” he told Yahoo! Lifestyle.
“We are identical and our haircuts are exactly the same. He doesn’t have long hair anymore, nor do I. We literally both have the same haircut right now. Leading into the show, we sort of knew that this would happen so we decided to get the same haircut because people wouldn’t know the difference, especially now.”
OK, it’s giving Parent Trap, but OK.
When quizzed if it was really James on the date night photos, Adrian responded by saying, “I guess we’ll have to wait and find out, I don’t know.”
He also reiterated that he and his brother “have a couple of girl friends” and that the potential date photos could’ve been an innocent link-up.
“Everyone’s got girl friends and guy friends, so no one’s dating anyone, no one’s hooking up with anyone,” the groom continued.
“I mean, it might have been a girl friend, it might have been my brother. Who knows?”
But was it really Adrian Arouzou’s twin on the date night?
Look, the resemblance between the twins is quite uncanny. However, according to Yahoo! Lifestyle, James has tattoos on both arms and Adrian’s ink is only on his left arm.
The bloke in the pic had nothing on his right arm, which was wrapped around the mystery woman.
It also appears that James has jumped in on the “it could, it could be not” mind games, commenting under @MAFSGossip’s post about the pap pics: “Adrian or me… I am in Syd ATM.”
