The Georgia Bulldogs completed their second preseason scrimmage on Saturday. Following the scrimmage, Georgia head coach Kirby Smart publicly announced that Carson Beck is Georgia’s starting quarterback.
Featured in the highlight video is multiple Malaki Starks tackles, a Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint catch, several Andrew Paul runs and catches, a few Gunner Stockton throws, a Dominic Lovett touchdown, a Daylen Everette interception, and more.

I was very pleased with the improvement from scrimmage one to scrimmage two.
However, Kirby Smart thinks Georgia needs to improve more. The Bulldogs have a very high standard and Georgia is not meeting it yet.
I thought this scrimmage two was probably behind where we’ve been the last two years on scrimmage two but a lot further than where we were on scrimmage one. The progress we made was good but we’re not where we need to be.
