UFC veteran Matt Brown wants to hijack Jake Paul's $1million sparring offer to rising star Paddy Pimblett.
YouTube star Paul has regularly called out fighters from the UFC since making his rise in boxing, having already defeated the likes of f ormer UFC champions Anderson Silva and Tyron Woodley in the ring. This week he opted to begin a new feud with rising star 'Paddy the Baddy' who alleged that the YouTube star's fights were "fixed".
The pair have gone back and forth via social media videos with Paul suggesting he wants to spar the Liverpudlian with the Brit earninga n eight-figure financial boost if he wins. But UFC veteran Brown has confirmed he is also willing to step up to the plate, tweeting: "Can I get in on this deal, Jake Paul?"
Neither Pimblett or Paul have responded to Brown who has been met with deaf ears, with Paul and Pimblett currently focused on getting a wager sorted amongst themselves. Paul first called out Pimblett in a lengthy video after hearing the lightweight's criticism of his his recent fights.
He said: "I was really wanting to like you, I really was; you've got a good thing going for you but then you come out and say my fight with Anderson Silva was rigged. I'm sick and tired of this narrative. It's stupid and pathetic; you're disrespecting the own GOAT of your own sport. You're saying that Anderson Silva is a criminal, that he is a fraud.

"I have a proposition for you; since you wouldn't rig a fight, let's spar. Fly to Puerto Rico - I'll get you a private jet - and we can do five three-minute rounds of boxing. If you win, I'll give you $1million, which is what you deserve to get paid Paddy. You know it, but the UFC is not paying you that, you deserve to get paid more."

Pimblett then hit back in his own video, replying: "Challenge accepted but I'm not coming to Puerto Rico when I'm fighting next Saturday. If you want to spar, come to the PI next week. As I say, I fight Saturday, I'll chill Sunday and I'll beat you up Monday, offer's there."
Paul has since made a new offer which Pimblett has yet to respond to, concluding: "Fella my team told me you have been trying to book me for your podcast, January 5. So I’m sending you a jet to bring you to Puerto Rico. Both of our teams will film. We spar, five rounds and then we can do your podcast. By then you will be back to your normal weight. No excuses."
Paul has been regularly been accused of "fixing" his fights particularly after he brutally knocked out Woodley in their rematch. The YouTube star has frequently denied the allegations and pointed out that his events are sanctioned by professional boards and carried out by boxing broadcast companies such as Showtime.
