UFC star Paddy Pimblett forces internet troll to quit during gym fight

Paddy Pimblett made an internet troll quit after inviting him to his gym for a sparring session.

UFC star Pimblett, 27, is no stranger to hateful comments on social media as the Scouser has been banned off several platforms for replying to his critics. 'The Baddy' has challenged any of his trolls to back up their talk by visiting him at his gym Next Generation MMA in Liverpool and one fan took Pimblett up on the offer.

"This kid has been on my posts for the past week or two just talking s***," Pimblett said in a recent vlog. "Give him his due, he's got a set of cajones because I said to him if he doesn't quit I'll give him £500. I can't even remember what he was saying because I have so many people talking s***. He'll get a little lesson but I am only going to play with him.

The troll, who made the three hour journey from Bristol for the spar, revealed he lied to Pimblett about his combat sports experience. "I'm a bit nervous. I want it to go hard, need to get him humble," he said before the spar. "I lied to Paddy, I said I'd done Brazilian jiu-jitsu competitions but I haven't done any, not a single one. I watched a few YouTube videos though, it's a bit surreal."

In the first round of their spar, the troll injures his own leg whilst throwing a kick. 'The Baddy' beats him up with ease whilst not taking it too seriously, as the exhausted troll was struggling to defend Pimblett's strikes. The troll was taking punishment on the ground in round two before Pimblett forced him to quit in the following round after hurting his elbow with a body kick.

The troll admitted he thought he would do better against Pimblett and questioned whether he needed to go to the hospital because of his elbow injury. Pimblett had a lot of respect for the troll despite his hateful comments and gave him £50 for his ambitious effort.

"Respect for coming down lad, I've been asking other UK MMA fighters to come and spar me and they're all scared," Pimblett told the troll after their spar. "You've never walked in an MMA gym in your life, even though you didn't survive I've got £50 for you. I can't say a bad word, you turned up. All the other people on Instagram talk s*** but are scared to turn up."
