UFC star Nathaniel Wood shares his home workout routine to keep fit during coronavirus lockdown

If you are in need of some workout motivation during the coronavirus lockdown, one of London’s own UFC stars is here to help.

Like the rest of the country, UFC bantamweight Nathaniel Wood is staying at home and with gyms closed for the foreseeable future, he will be keeping himself fighting fit behind closed doors.

In the video above, the former Cage Warriors champion guides you through a set of squats, single leg squats and a series of press up routines you can take up in your living room or garden.

Morden-born Wood, aptly nicknamed ‘The Prospect’, is one of the bantamweight’s brightest young talents, winning his first three fights in the Octagon before a surprise defeat to John Dodson in February - his first MMA loss since 2016.

The 26-year-old had hoped to fight his way onto the UFC London card, which was scheduled for March 16, to set the record straight, only for the event to be cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Watch Wood's workout routine in the video above.
