Nate Diaz told a drug tester to "f****** suck d***" as he attempted to give a urine sample ahead of his return to the octagon.
Diaz will make his final octagon bow against Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 279 on September 10 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. It will be his curtain call after a long career with the promotion, as he plans to move on and explore other opportunities following the expiration of his contract.
Ahead of the fight, the pair are required to provide clean samples as part of the UFC's USADA drug testing programme. Diaz showed fans the process on an Instagram live stream where he showed little care despite a drug tester being present at his house. The American star lit up a joint and smoked it while offering to pass it to his friends.
WARNING: STRONG LANGUAGE
During the video he says: “This man won’t get out of my house because I didn’t give him enough p***. P***ed all I can, my n****. How many litres do I do? I’ve got two more litres of p*** have I got to give him and he won’t get out of here until [then]. DK is my guy but USADA can f****** suck a d***. Come back in six hours, I’ll give you two more. Sorry DK."
He then asks the drug tester 'DK' if he would like to take a puff on his joint but the tester quickly declines as he collects his equipment and leaves Diaz's house. It is certainly not the first time Diaz has been pictured with a joint while fulfilling requirements ahead of a UFC bout.
He has been seen smoking blunts at press conferences ahead of fights including before his most recent outing against newly crowned UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards last June. He also lit up a joint cageside at Francis Ngannou's heavyweight title defence against Ciryl Gane back in January, and has also been pictured with one while working out.

Diaz is one of the most popular figures in the sport despite his imminent departure, and during his tenure he has showed his disregard for the USADA drug testing system adopted by the UFC. Despite smoking a joint next to an official, Diaz will not fail any test after USADA and the UFC relaxed their rules for cannabis use last year.
They wrote in a statement last year: "The UFC’s anti-doping policy will no longer punish athletes for positive tests for carboxy-THC, the psychoactive ingredient in cannabis. UFC and U.S. Anti-Doping Agency officials on Thursday announced significant modifications “in the handling of cannabis and its naturally occurring cannabinoid compounds.”
"In short, positive tests for carboxy-THC, regardless of levels, will no longer be considered violations to the policy “unless additional evidence exists that an athlete used it intentionally for performance-enhancing purposes.”
