Molly McCann has thanked rapper Drake for making good on his promise to gift her a Rolex watch following her knockout win over Hannah Goldy.
The UFC star earned the platinum-selling musician £3.1million when she knocked out Goldy at The O2 arena in London, which was part of his double bet that included McCann's pal Paddy Pimblett. The Scouse duo both scored finish victories when Pimblett submitted Jordan Leavitt, with Drake later promising he would buy them each a Rolex.
And McCann took to Instagram to thank Drake, whose full name is Aubrey Drake Graham, sharing a video of herself walking around her hometown of Liverpool with the watch on her arm. The gold Rolex believed to be worth six figures, with Pimblett also being gifted one in the last few days.
Pimblett and McCann, teammates since their youth, were seen backstage together after the fight where the flyweight contender posted a video on Instagram making the request, where she said: "Drake we have just broken your course lad. Can I have a Rolex please?" Pimblett then appeared on the video, adding: "Champagne Papi come on what are we getting for that?"
In a recent Instagram video, Pimblett showed off his new watch as well, saying: "Oh s***, belter, thank you very much! Nice one for that, Drake. Thank you very much. He said he'd get us a Rolex and he's got us one."
The lightweight contender couldn't resist a plug for his employers Barstool Sports, adding: "He would have been able to get us a better watch if he would have bet with Barstool, he would have got more money. But thank you very much, really appreciate that, lad. Nice one."
Pimblett and McCann have both established themselves as major stars in their respective divisions with a series of statement victories over the past year. Between them they have fought six times in the UFC octagon and landed five finishes including three knockouts and two submissions.

McCann has landed herself a spot in the UFC's top 15 and now is set to face No.12-ranked Erin Blanchfield at Madison Square Garden on November 12 at UFC 281. Meanwhile, Pimblett is plotting a fight on December 10 at UFC 282 in Las Vegas, although no opponent has been confirmed as yet.
The pair are both former Cage Warriors champions, with McCann holding the flyweight title before joining the UFC while Pimblett was once featherweight champion. They have crossed over to the American market well, but fought behind closed doors in Las Vegas before heading back to the UK twice this year.
Now, they are expected to cross over to America with McCann going to the East Coast and Pimblett heading West. The lightweight has claimed that he is a few fights away from a ranking as yet, while McCann competes in the ultra-active flyweight division and could find herself fighting for a world title with two or three major wins.
