UFC star Conor McGregor to appear in court over alleged dangerous driving

Conor McGregor is set to appear in court today – charged over an alleged dangerous driving incident last month.

The 33-year-old will appear at Blanchardstown District Court.

It comes after gardai stopped the UFC superstar on the evening of March 22.

If convicted, he could be hit with a six-month prison term as well as a fine of up to €5,000.

It is understood McGregor was arrested after his €170,000 Bentley Convertible came to the attention of gardai in Palmerstown.

He was then taken to Lucan Garda Station where he was later charged with two offences of dangerous driving.
