UFC star Conor McGregor is mourning the death of his aunt who passed away on Sunday.
McGregor's father Tony announced the sad news on social media that his sister Pamela had passed away.
Posting a picture of him with his sister, Tony wrote: "It is with deep regret that I announce the death of my beloved sister Pamela, 25/06/23. Rest in Peace."
The news will undoubtedly greatly sadden the close-knit family, with Conor yet to speak publicly about it.
McGregor, 34, has been filming The Ultimate Fighter series in America recently and has been out and about in New York.
The Dubliner is nearing his return to the octagon when he takes on Michael Chandler but a date has yet to be set for the contest.
