UFC star Conor McGregor announces he is expecting fourth child with fiancee

Conor McGregor will welcome his fourth child into the world after the UFC star announced his fiancee Dee Devlin is pregnant.

McGregor and childhood sweetheart Devlin had their first child in 2017 and the couple have since had two more children. Conor Jr was born just months before McGregor's illustrious 'money fight' against boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr, with Devlin later giving birth to their first daughter Croia in January 2019.

Devlin gave birth to another son, Rian, in May 2021 and McGregor has now revealed on the Kelly and Mark show that he and Devlin have a fourth child on the way. "Things are going well. We've also got another on the way. There's a lot going on. A couple more weeks and we'll be able to find out what the sex is of the baby. We are very excited back home," he said.

McGregor's announcement comes at a time when UFC fans are eager to see him back in the cage, with his pencilled-in fight against Michael Chandler still without a date or venue. The bout is expected to take place at UFC 296 on December 16, but McGregor must return to the USADA testing pool to complete six months of mandatory drug testing for that date to remain a possibility.

UFC boss Dana White recently cast doubt on McGregor's future by admitting it's hard to get fighters like him to compete in the cage because of their superstardom outside of it. "The one thing you guys have to understand is this kid has so much money. It's like Khabib [Nurmagomedov] now. These guys got s***loads of money and it's hard to reel these guys in and get them to get in and fight," he said.

McGregor hasn't fought since suffering a horror leg break in his trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier in July 2021. 'Notorious' faced a lengthy spell on the sidelines but made a full recovery from the injury earlier this year. McGregor also recently coached on season 31 of the UFC's reality TV show The Ultimate Fighter against Chandler, but he is currently going through a disastrous spell on the show.

In the opening three episodes of the series, McGregor's fighter all lost their respective bouts. Team Chandler's Austin Hubbard sent Team McGregor's Aaron McKenzie to the hospital after their fight in the latest episode. McGregor's coaching methods have also been brought into question during the season, as he bizarrely told his fighters to sing a song whilst training.
