Performance of the Night: Matt Brown
Matt Brown def. Court McGee knockout (punch) – Round 1, 4:09
Matt Brown (24-19 MMA, 17-13 UFC) tied the UFC’s all-time knockouts record with No. 13 when he put away Court McGee (21-12 MMA, 10-11 UFC) with a one-punch walk-off KO in the first round.
Performance of the Night: Carlos Ulberg
Carlos Ulberg def. Ihor Potieria via knockout (punches) – Round 1, 2:09
Carlos Ulberg (8-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC) continued to roll at light heavyweight with his fourth straight win when he needed only a little more than two minutes to put away Ihor Potieria (19-4 MMA, 1-2 UFC).
Performance of the Night: Ian Machado Garry
Ian Machado Garry def. Daniel Rodriguez via TKO (punches) – Round 1, 2:57
Ian Machado Garry (12-0 MMA, 5-0 UFC) backed up the hype behind him when he took out Daniel Rodriguez (17-4 MMA, 7-3 UFC) with a head kick, then punches on the canvas in the first round.
Performance of the Night: Jailton Almeida
Jailton Almeida def. Jairzinho Rozenstruik via submission (rear-naked choke) – Round 1, 3:43
Jailton Almeida (19-2 MMA, 5-0 UFC) continued to run through the UFC’s heavyweight division with a first-round submission of Jairzinho Rozenstruik (13-5 MMA, 7-5 UFC) in his first main event. Almeida was the biggest favorite on the main card.
Performance of the Night: Bryan Battle
Bryan Battle def. Gabe Green via knockout (punches) – Round 1, 0:14
Bryan Battle (9-2 MMA, 4-1 UFC) missed weight for his fight against Gabe Green (11-5 MMA, 2-3 UFC), which normally makes fighters ineligible for post-fight bonuses. But UFC president Dana White gave Battle $50,000, anyway, after he knocked out Green in just 14 seconds. It was the sixth fastest finish in UFC welterweight history.
