Dustin Jacoby’s return to the cage was an impressive one.
The UFC light heavyweight scored a clean, walk-off knockout over Da-un Jung at Saturday’s UFC on ABC 3 on Long Island. Jacoby (18-5-1 MMA, 6-2-1 UFC) put away Jung (15-3-1 MMA, 4-2 UFC) at the 3:!5 mark of Round 1.
The fight was starting to heat up, but before things really ramped up, Jacoby connected with a straight right hand by the ear of Jung. The shot immediately sent the South Korean fighter to the canvas.
Jacoby didn’t see fit to land any extra shots and walked away celebrating. It was clear Jung was out of the contest, and the referee waved off the fight.

Jacoby is unbeaten since coming back from retirement in 2019. Jacoby retired in 2015 with back-to-back Bellator defeats to Muhammed Lawal and John Salter. He then came back four years later and has picked up eight wins and one draw, with seven of those bouts being in the UFC.
