Ilia Topuria made sure to make the most of the biggest stage he’s been on in his career.
Last June, Topuria was given his first UFC main event slot and against his first top-five opponent in the promotion. The undefeated contender headlined UFC on ABC 5 against Josh Emmett, and he made a statement that night, as he put on a boxing clinic and battered the veteran to win a dominant decision. The victory earned Topuria a shot at the UFC featherweight belt.

Topuria (14-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC) challenges champion Alexander Volkanovski (26-3 MMA, 13-2 UFC) for his UFC featherweight title in the main event of UFC 298. The card is scheduled to go down on Feb. 17 at Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif.
