The UFC begins its November event schedule on Saturday with UFC Fight Night 214, which takes place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
A matchup between strawweight title hopefuls serves as the headliner of the card. Marina Rodriguez (17-1-2 MMA, 6-1-2 UFC) is set to face fellow Brazilian, Amanda Lemos (12-2-1 MMA, 6-2 UFC), in a bout that could put the winner in the conversation to fight next week’s UFC 281 championship bout between Carla Esparza and Zhang Weili.

Marina Rodriguez

Magny is the only fighter in modern UFC history to make five or more octagon appearances in consecutive years. He went 4-1 in 2015 after going 5-0 in 2014.
Magny is one of three fighters in UFC history to earn five victories in a calendar year, as he did in 2014. Kevin Holland (2020) and Roger Huerta (2007) also accomplished the feat.
Daniel Rodriguez
Daniel Rodriguez (17-2 MMA, 7-1 UFC) makes his second UFC appearance in a 56-day stretch. He was victorious at UFC 279 on Sept. 10.

Benito Lopez (10-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) returns to competition for the first time since July 13, 2019. The 1,211-day layoff is the longest of his career.
Polyana Viana vs. Jinh Yu Frey
Jinh Yu Frey (11-7 MMA, 2-3 UFC) defends 88.9 percent of opponent takedown attempts in UFC strawweight competition, the best rate in divisional history.
