Chase Hooper had no answer for Steve Garcia on the feet at UFC Fight Night 213.
Garcia (13-5 MMA, 2-2 UFC) landed three knockdowns quickly into the first round of his featherweight bout with Hooper (11-3-1 MMA, 3-3 UFC) en route to a TKO win at the 1:32 mark of the opening frame the UFC Apex. Garcia kept finding a home for the left hook until he mauled Hooper for the finish.

With the win, betting underdog Garcia now has split his first four octagon appearances. The Fortis MMA fighter has finished his past five wins by knockout.
