BT Sport will remain the place for UK fight fans to watch their UFC content as the promotion has extended their broadcast rights deal with the network.
Fans have been able to watch UFC on BT Sport since 2013. Terms of the new agreement means fans can continue to watch all pay-per-view and fight night events, plus shows such as UFC Countdown and UFC Connected on BT Sport.
It comes just two months ahead of the promotion's return to London as they host their second fight night card of the year in the English capital. UFC London on July 23 will be headlined by a heavyweight clash between Tom Aspinall and Curtis Blaydes.
UFC boss Dana White reacted to the news in an interview with BT Sport, stating: "It's the place to be. We've built a great relationship and a great business together. I'm happy that we've signed a multi-year deal, hundreds of hours of original UFC content, it's going to be awesome for the UK.
"We had a lot of different options on who to do a deal with and it was no a brainer to do with BT. You guys have built an incredible brand and network over there, we've built a great business together so we're excited to be with you guys."
White admitted it was a "no brainer" to return to London after the success of their March event at The O2 arena. The event, which was again headlined by Aspinall, broke an O2 arena record after attracting a live gate of $4.5 million.
"We're coming back to London, there's tons of great talent coming out of the UK now," White continued. "I think with pandemic being over, us coming over with live events and this new BT deal, it's only going to make the sport bigger and create more incredible talent from that part of the world."
