MIAMI – The UFC 314 co-main event is locked in after Michael Chandler and Paddy Pimblett made weight at Friday’s official weigh-ins.
Former Bellator champion Chandler (23-9 MMA, 2-4 UFC) will take on the polarizing Pimblett (22-3 MMA, 6-0 UFC) in a five-round lightweight bout that will serve as a telling contest in the career of both men.
Before they step in the octagon, however, they had to make weight. There was no drama, with Chandler registering at 156 pounds, while Pimblett was 156 pounds when he stepped on the scale for his most high-profile bout to date.
