UFC 313: Pereira vs. Ankalaev updates, results of every fight

UFC UFC 313 Alex Pereira ESPNews Magomed Ankalaev Rafael Fiziev ESPN Las Vegas

UFC 313 took place Saturday, and MMA Junkie provided live round-by-round coverage and official results. UFC 313 (pay-per-view, ESPNews, ESPN+) took place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

In the headliner, light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira (12-3 MMA, 9-2 UFC) put his title on the line against challenger Magomed Ankalaev (21-1-1 MMA, 12-1-1 UFC). In the co-feature, Rafael Fiziev (12-4 MMA, 6-4 UFC) stepped up on short notice for a rematch with former interim lightweight champ Justin Gaethje (26-5 MMA, 9-5 UFC).

King Green vs. Mauricio Ruffy

Round 1 – Ruffy pushed forward early and backed Green to the fence. He stayed patient looking for openings, and 80 seconds in drilled Green with a right hand that sent him reeling to the fence. And just a few seconds later, Ruffy landed a spinning wheel kick that drilled Green in the head.

Green went face down to the canvas with Ruffy quickly to the top of the fence with one of the truly most spectacular kick knockouts in UFC history. His right heel hit Green squarely in the temple to put him out.
