LAS VEGAS – The latest in a seemingly endless run of faceoffs between Alexa Grasso and Valentina Shevchenko went down Thursday at the UFC 306 pre-fight press conference.
Grasso (16-3-1 MMA, 8-3-1 UFC) will put her women’s flyweight title on the line against Shevchenko (23-4-1 MMA, 12-3-1 UFC) in the first women’s trilogy bout in company history, which serves as the co-main event of Noche UFC on Saturday at Sphere (ESPN+ pay-per-view, ESPNews).
With Grasso holding the advantage in the series at 1-0-1, she will look to close the door on “The Bullet.” Former champion Shevchenko will have something to say about though after feeling she was robbed in the decision of the second fight, and her fierceness shined through at the staredown.
